WILLIAM L. MCNAMARA; MAI, MRA, is the founder and principal of Greater Boston Valuation. He has been a member of the Appraisal Institute since 1995, and has been active in various facets of the real estate industry, including property development, management, and investment, since 1973. He has been a Real Estate Appraiser in the Greater Boston area since 1984. Mr. McNamara specializes in the valuation of commercial, industrial and residential investment property in conjunction with acquisitions, sales, and financing matters. Other appraisals are conducted for the purpose of establishing market value estimates in conjunction with leasing, estate and federal taxes, property tax disputes, condemnation, hazardous waste litigation, and reuse purposes. In addition to these appraisal, valuation and consulting services, he is a qualified expert witness in Appellate Tax Board proceedings in Massachusetts.
